doodles & more

we’ve been busy around here-
busy scheming what our 2013 adventures will be.
i think this is going to be a big year for allen designs/close2myart as well as for myself.
lots of exciting things brewing!

and art is a very big part of it.
yay for me!
how about you, do you take time to list out your goals & dreams?
i’ve had times when i don’t and, honestly i can tell a difference in how i live each day.

books i’m still reading…
and will probably be reading till my next trip to China!
some things just don’t make the priority list unfortunately.

   I have the same “list” in my head all the time: make at least one thing pr day. If I don´t I don´t really feel all that good when I go to bed. If I´ve had an efficient day with a lot of work, it makes me fall asleep happy. Maybe this makes me an art-nerd…?
   Your new year sounds intriguing Can´t wait to hear more about it! Your new collection rocks by the way! Totally!!!

   I’m glad that I’m not the only one with a stack of unread books, lol! I’m so bad for starting one and then moving on to the next exciting thing.. Janne’s work really is amazing. So much life and color! Can’t wait to see all your amazing art this year too!

   I’ve been wanting to read, but can’t find the time to focus that kind of energy to it. But, after reading Lisa Congdon’s post on “making use of studio time“, that you recommended (thanks!!), I re-discovered audio books. I listened to a book called “The Palace of Illusions”, which was pretty good. It really helped me keep my head down and get some work done! I also listen to This American Life podcast.
