i figured i’d start of my home art studio tour with some instagram (close2myart) shots.
notice how well i take care of my brushes???
there are probably 20 of them just sitting in that water there.
the really bad part- they are still there 2 days later!
quite the eclectic collection of pieces here.
i’m a sucker for other people’s junk.
i’ll be back tomorrow with my art studio tour -part 2.
hope you are well my friend.
Thanks for sharing your artful life!! You are not alone on the brush thing…too many artists I know are the same including me…. Oh well it’s convenient!! lol
Love the start of the new canvas!! Can’t wait to see it completed!!

I have the same problem with my brushes! =) Your studio looks so beautiful & inspiring!! I’m drooling over those giant tubes of liquid golden! Thanks for sharing! I love seeing other people’s studio space!
I love other people’s junk too! I just rescued a trunk out of my neighbour’s garbage-going to make a coffee table out of it.
Love the bright happy paintings in your studio! : )
Michelle, is there a particular brand of brush you prefer? Historically, I have gone the cheap route, but get so tired of the random bristles coming out while painting. If you could recommend something maybe middle of the road – I’m not an artist for a living.
Can’t wait to see more of the studio!
What a privledge to see the birthing room of such adorable art works!
Your work is so beautiful! The colors are inviting. Wish I had an ounce of your talent!
Blessings,
Shelley
I LOVE seeing where you work!! It is always so interesting to see where artists make their magic happen.
I am glad to see that I am not the only one who leaves their brushes in the water. I am the worst. Have a happy day & looking forward to seeing more.
Well, I am totally loving your new in-the-making painting. The colors!!!! Yes!!!

And I miss your studio
And you
lol @ the brushes, now I don’t feel so bad cos someone else is just as bad as me
Loving the studio tour, so great that you are living your art!
heh, so good to see I’m not the only one that leaves her brushes in water for two days!
Love your studio space, thank you for sharing!
